This post is featuring our custom, rustic dining room table from Rustic Elements Furniture. We ordered this close to 3 years ago, so we’ve had plenty of time, meals, and get-togethers to confidently give Rustic Elements our highest recommendation for high end custom wood furniture.
What we loved about Rustic Elements was the ability to fully customize almost anything you could imagine ranging from: table size, tabletop thickness, species of wood, level of distress, smooth vs grooved top, design of the table edges, design of the table legs or pedestals, the finish & sheen etc. The combinations are endless, but after browsing their instagram page @rusticelementsfurniture you can get a sense of what you like and narrow down your options.

Our table ended up being about 9′ long and 42″ wide with large belly pedestals and a stabilizing brace. I can not say enough about the high quality craftsmanship and TLC that went into the making of this table. It’s been about 3 years and it still looks and feels brand new and will likely last generations (if our children want to keep utilizing it LOL). There’s really not much you can find at brick & mortar retail stores that will compare in quality.

We were fortunate enough to find some heavily discounted chairs at Restoration Hardware in the Madeleine side chair line that matched pretty well to almost make it look like a set that came together. Once we purchased the table, the rest of the room gradually fell into place as we designed around the table.

The customer service from Rustic Elements was tremendous from helping plan out the build with suggestions and recommendations, to clear communication re: delivery timelines, to the actual delivery itself. I would not hesitate to have anyone check out Rustic Elements Furniture for their next custom furniture build or at the very least for some inspiration and ideas. Give them and us a follow. Until the next House Inspired post, happy hunting!
